Group Assignments by Domics

Have you experienced this before, having to do an assignment that requires being a group.  Back in the days, I would tackle the entire assignment on my own.  Unless the teacher really required it then I would have no choice but to choose someone who I know can actually pull their weight in the group.  Well what’s your experience like being in a group?
